The opening of the exhibition Oni / They, accompanying the program of the Festival of Tolerance, will be held on Monday, April 1 at noon, at Ban Jelačić Square in Zagreb.
Four pop-up installations with the portraits of four refugees from Syria, Iraq and Iran currently living in Croatia will be set up on four Zagreb squares (Ban Jelačić Square, Preradović Square, Republic of Croatia Square and King Tomislav Square) until April 15th. The authors of the photographs are Ana Opalić, Mare Milin, Stanko Herceg and Ivan Posavec.
The 13th edition of the Festival of Tolerance, which takes place from April 7th to 13th at Zagreb’s cinemas (Europa, Tuškanac and Kinoteka), emphasizes the importance of accepting and respecting the diversity and fundamental principles of equality and justice, with particular reference to the global refugee problem.
