For twenty years, at the end of August, the historic city center of Varaždin transforms into the largest stage in Croatia. During the ten days of the most diverse and most popular Croatian festival the streets, squares, palaces, parks gardens and courtyards of Varaždin become stages, theaters, restaurants, bars, clubs, classrooms and much more.
This year’s Špancirfest is being held from August 17 till 26.
Museum of Croatian Fire Brigade also prepared a rich program for all the visitors of the festival. A central event will be held on Saturday, the 25th, at 11 am, in front of the museum (Barun Trenko Street,44). Through that manifestation Croatian Fire Department will present how the old firefighting equipment works and visitors will also be able to see fire truck oldtimer.
During the Špancirfest, the museum will be opened for 17th and 18th of August and then again from 20th to 24th from 2 pm till 8 pm.
