Exhibition: ‘Magister Giotto- The Scrovegni Chapel’

The Italian Institute for Culture and the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb present an impressive exhibition Magister Giotto – The Scrovegni Chapel produced by Italian company Cose Belle d’Italia Media Entertainment, that will be held from November 7th 2018 till 15 January 2019 in the Gallery of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb (Pavla Hatza 6).

The exhibition is dedicated to one of the key protagonists of the Italian art history Giotto di Bondone (1267 – 1337) and shows one of the Giotto’s greatest works of art, The Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, painted with fresco technique between 1303 and 1305. The Scrovegni Chapel is considered one of the greatest masterpieces of Western art.

 The exhibition presents the content through a music drama using the most advanced technology, combining displays, original music by jazz musician Paolo Fresu and a narration in Croatian spoken by an actor Ozren Grabarić (the narration is also available in English and Italian) enabling the visitors to experience the ultimate cultural-artistic journey and revealing the mysterious meanings of Giotto’s works.
