This year’s manifestation European Heritage Days will be officially opened by Minister of Culture Dr. sc. Nina Obuljen Koržinek on Thursday, September 20 at 7 pm at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery Zagreb.
The manifestation will be opened with the exhibition “In the service of visualization of heritage – hommage to photographers Nikola Vranić, Vinko Malinarić, Rudolf Bartolović, Živko Bačić, Miljenko Mojaš and Vidoslav Barac”.
European Heritage Days is just one of many events within the European Year of Cultural Heritage (2018). From archaeological sites to architecture, from medieval castles to folklore traditions and arts, Europe’s cultural heritage is at the very heart of the collective memory and identity of European citizens. The aim of marking 2018 as the European Year of Cultural Heritage is exactly to raise awareness among European citizens about the importance of our culture in forming our identity.
