Yuri Cortez, a photojournalist from Agence France-Presse (AFP), came to Croatia to the invitation of the Croatian National Tourist Board. We wrote about him during the World Cup when he found himself in the midst of the celebration of Croatian footballers after goal that sent Croatia to the finals of the World Cup in Russia.
Cortez arrived to Croatia with his family on 31 August and they’re staying till 7 September. During their stay they’ll visit Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Šibenik, Zadar, Opatija, Rovinj and Pula, as well as other tourist attractions such as the Kornati National Park or Telašćica Nature Park.
“Although I traveled the world, in Croatia, I have yet not been, and I’m especially glad to experience Croatia with my family. Croatia is a wonderful country full of great and unique motifs and as such, is a paradise for photographers. We can hardly wait for our Croatian adventure ” said Cortez.
