One of the new focuses on the fair will be a number airlines that will present their offers of newly established direct flights to and from Croatia, including line with Canada, Israel, Russia, Portugal, Czech Republic and others.
Croatian exhibitors will focus onĀ lesser known destinations and off season activities tourists can have in Croatia, from excursions to longer stays throughout the year, with special focus on Osijek, Bijelovarsko -bilogorska county, Karlovac, museums of Zagreb and a number of nature reserves and national parks.
The Place2Go fair will be held until Sunday, March 20th, at Bocarski Dom hall, Prisavlje street 2.
Friday, however, is reserved for B2B networking, with access for business visitors only, as organizers point out, so the exhibitors attention will not be divided between consumers and partners. All other days are free to attend for anyone.
During the two days opened for everyone, visitors will be able to learn about the beauties of Indonesia, Israel, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Iran, Belgium, Vojvodina, the Himalayas and other exotic and familiar places seen from another perspective trough lectures, travel stories, experiences of off beat travelers, students and experts, with intermezzos during which different dance and music routines from around the world will be presented.
There will also be a number of photo ops in different settings, VR traveling around the world, prizes to win (trip for two to Malta, a number of two way tickets to different destinations and other…) and foods to taste. Food has a special focus this year, with a section dedicated only to gastronomy experiences, from local homemade meals, to foods eaten on the other side of the world, with a market corner where visitors will be able to buy different geo-specific produces from different sides of the globe.
