Cinema Tuškanac brings the cycle of Spanish films to the big screens from November 6th to 11th. This year’s Spanish cycle is dedicated to the criminal genre and brings six award-winning titles.
The movies that will be shown are the following. The dark Alberto Rodriguez thriller Marshland, Thesis from the king of Spanish thriller – Alejandro Amenábar, and the impressive Juan José’s mystery The Secret in Their Eyes.
Next, the Frozen Silence, a film by Gerardo Herrero – a thriller set in the historical context of the WWII, specifically, the chaos of war on the Russian front. There will also be Box 507, a film by Enrique Urbizu that examines the institutional corruption, the world of bankers, investors and developers.
The cycle will finish up with wonderfully directed psychological thriller Sleep Tight with two popular Spanish actors Luis Tosar and Marta Etura.
On a more cheerful note, Saturdays matinee for the youngest will be showing the favored Pat & Mat animated shorts :)
