The oldest and most famous Zagreb market, Dolac, will be the main star of the documentary film called ‘Tržnice – trbuh grada’ (‘Food Markets: In The Belly of Zagreb’) on Saturday, October 22nd, at 3:45 pm on HRT 1.
The TV series will, except for Dolac, present markets from Switzerland and Tuscany, Riga, Florence, Toulouse, Freiburg. In the show, we will see various products, ‘smell and taste’ healthy food and get advice and experience of top chefs and market sellers, who we call ‘kumice’.
The directors of the movie, which represents one of the most beautiful symbols of the city, are Stefano Tealdi and Dana Budisavljević, project holders are Stefilm International and ZDF / Arte; The first episode of the Tv series is shown in cooperation with the project partners – the production company Hulahop from Zagreb, Croatian Radio and Television, the Zagreb Tourist Board and the Croatian Tourism Board.
