Christmas is coming early for book lovers in Zagreb as the 38th Interliber book and learning fair opens Tuesday, November 10th at Zagreb Fair, Dubrovnik Avenue 15.
Held in Pavilions 5 and 6 of Zagreb Fair, Interliber gathers all Croatian and some of the biggest regional and European publishers with everyday panel discussions, book signings, interviews and promotions with their authors. With more publishers participating than ever, Interliber is holding up its fame as the most popular event on Zagreb Fair.
Don’t worry about language barriers, there are plenty of books on offer from French, Italian, German, British and American publishers, and a good chance to get a great deal on translated Croatian authors.
This year’s novelty is the Science Neighborhood in Pavilion 6 that lets visitors try out different science and social experiments, learn to write Egyptian hieroglyphics, test out 3D printing or their detective skills in the Room Escape corner.
Even if you don’t know the languages present on Interliber, we recommend you visit it if you love books as much as we do. The smell of new print is exhilarating and lines, heaps and rows of books in front of you are a sight for digitally sour eyes.
