Bad Luck and Good Lineups: First Edition of Reflektor Festival of Arts and Music Moves Indoors Due to Bad Weather

Reflektor Fest should have opened the summer stage at Tuskanac plateau and outdoor cinema, a favorite meeting point during summer in Zagreb, but due to bad weather forecast for the weekend, they’ve moved to Tvornica Kulture club.

The first edition of Reflektor was supposed to be a two day outdoor arts and music festival, combining concerts with art competitions, exhibitions, custom bikes, painting and crafts workshops. It seemed like a nice start and lineup of a new festival, but the organizers have decided to play it safe and move indoors, which made them give up on the arts part of the content.  Even without the extra content, concert lineups should hold their own with the likes of Anna Calvi and Blood Red Shoes as international headliners.

It’s a shame that the full vision of the new festival didn’t come to fruition, since the selection of local bands also holds up, as some of the best young artists will be playing at the festival, guaranteeing a good time. We’ll wish better luck with weather for the second editions.

Tickets for concerts at Tvornica Kulture club are available, and all those that bought them for Tuskanac can use them here, or refund them. Two day tickets cost 140/160 kn, while tickets for the first day cost 110/130 kn and for the second day 60/80 kn (first price is for pre-sale, which you can buy here, while the second one is for tickets bought at the venue)

After parties at the small stage of Tvornica Kulture are free.
