International Experimental Film and Video Festival: 25 FPS

Festival of experimental film and video appropriately entitled ‘25 FPS’, is being held in Zagreb from 28th September till 1st of October. It is a film festival that explores conceptual and technological possibilities of the medium.

The screenings will relate to the tradition of experimental and avant-garde filmmaking in an innovative way with works that reveal new forms of the moving image.

The festival is being held at Savska 25 (Student Center). All the screenings as well as all the future screenings are and will always be free.

‘25 FPS’ festival is being held since 2005 and is supported by City Office for Education, Culture and Sport, Ministry of Culture, Croatian Audiovisual centre and Student Center. The competitors will be competing for the Grand Prix, jury critics award, the Fujifilm award and the Audience Award.

This – thirteenth edition of the festival is starting off in Zagreb and will finish up in Rijeka.
