We don’t usually cover events outside of Zagreb, but when our amazing friends from Svibanj Project get their hands on something, we know it’s going to be good. Last year, people who are behind Advent, Design District and other similar noteworthy projects around Zagreb have set up a little food and music festival in the coastal city of Šibenik – Deboto festival.
From 18-20 August 2016, Deboto is set to bring a tasty selection of jazz, electronic & cutting edge music to the medieval streets and fortresses of Šibenik, mixing together live performances from local and international DJs to the tune of delicious local food and wine.
It’s not your classical summer festival, more of a three day celebration of hedonism, where you get to party or chill, try out local Mediterranean specialties and drink top notch wine amidst the stone paved streets of Šibenik with a view of the sea.
Deboto is set into three daily stages, free tastings and party at Mala Loža square during the day, sunset beach parties and all-nighters at Saint Mihovil fortress.
The line up consists of names like Jimi Tenor & Nicole Willis, Bake Junior, Shuya Okino, Grandbrothers, Eddy Ramich…and about a dozen other respectable names on the international scene.
So, if you’re heading to Dalmatia from Zagreb, it’s worth checking out. You can find out more HERE.
