Middle of March in Zagreb now traditionally marks the spring wake up call for all the fashionistas in the region as one of the most expected fashion events, BIPA Fashion.hr, embarks on showcasing the best collections done by Croatian designers for the upcoming season, be them household names, new stars on the scene or up and coming designers looking for a chance to prove themselves.
This year, Fashion.hr will be held from March 15th until March 19th at Pavilion 10 of Zagreb Velesajam (Zagreb Fair), and will showcase known designers and studios like Robert Sever, eNVy room, Ivica Skoko, Ivica Klaric, ELFS, BiteMyStyle by Zoran Aragovic, Ana Maria Ricov, Martina Felja, but will also feature young guns of the fashion scene like Hedra design by Ana Jagic, Ana Bogdan, Aman, Coded Edge, Morana Krklec and Obekei. Each year Fashion.hr gives a chance to one young designer This year’s first timer will be Gala Marija Vrbanic.
In its 20th season Fashion.hr is still striving for innovations in its production, and one of the biggest changes this year is the concept of virtual reality catwalking that will be presented during Ivica Klaric’s collection showcase using Gear VR glasses that were premiered on the market two weeks ago. The show that closes Fashion.hr on Saturday will be available, among other segments of the event, for viewing in virtual reality throughout the year.
