Kicking of a new season and celebrating 40 years of existence, KSET club brings three days of rock explosions on its stage. Each night from September 29th – October 1st the club will host a variety of local and international bands just starting to leave their mark on the scene. The club was formed 40 years ago by students of electronics and technology from FER collage, and is run by them to this day, upholding the policy of promoting new, underground and different musicians, genres, styles and approaches to music.
On the 9th Great Rock Explosion, stating with Thursday night, we’ll see bands Gretta, Eot, From Another Mother and Tiger Grips. One thing they all got in common is that they were all winners of different demo and battle of the bands like competitions in the last year.
Friday is reserved for the Invasion From the East, a traveling concert caravan featuring bands from Miner Records label. The label was founded by Milan von Ston, a somewhat prominent figure in the regional underground scene, who decided to gather the most significant regional underground metal bands under one roof. Invasion From the East will feature five bands that evening, including scene legends Bad Blood, Rum Smugglers, Kymera, From Ashes and Mephisto’s Requiem.
October 1st, which is the last night of the three day festival, will feature a mix of folk, pop and electro pop bands including Belfast Food, Pijano Bar and Roppongi Red. On all days of the Great rock Explosion the concerts start at 9pm, tickets for all three days are 50 kn, while a single day entry fee is 30/20/40 kn respectively.
