World’s Finest Musicians gather in Zagreb for the 11th International Festival of Chamber Music

Rating as one of the top high culture events of the year in Zagreb, the international festival of chamber music Zagreb Kom is always a treat for anyone caring to experience music in all its majesty. Throughout the years the festival had brought the very best chamber and classical musicians from around the world to the city,  honoring us with their performances in both their standard settings and in unique approaches and collaborations of the guests made specifically for the festival.

This year will be no different with the likes of violinists Susanna Yoko Henkel, Stefan Milenkovich, Anđelko Krpan and Marin Maras, cellists Monika Leskovar, Pavle Zajcev and Jing Zhao, clarinetist Chen Halevi, guitarist Petrit Çeku, pianists Milana Chernyavska, Ohad Ben-Ari and Danijel Detoni, violists Tomoko Akasaka, Roland Glassl and Marko Genero and Zagreb Soloists representing the local chamber musicians.

The 11th Zagreb Kom  will be held from October 7th until October 15th in the lavish halls of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Art, the Academy Palace and Gliptoteka museum and gallery, with  six thematically conceived concerts, varying from Bach to Brahms, from Mozart to Messiaen, from Paganini to Poulenc, all of them performed by diverse ensembles and covering music from baroque to contemporary authors.
