Franjo Tuđman Airport reached three million passengers since the beginning of 2018 in a record time, even 34 days earlier than the last year!
The lucky three-millionth passenger and winner of prestigious prize is Jesus Romero from Seville, registered on a Croatia Airlines flight OU470 Zagreb – Paris. Zagreb Airport rewarded the passenger with a duty free shop gift coupon, while Croatia Airlines rewarded him with two return tickets to an European destination of his choice.
“I am extremely surprised and happy, thank you for the great gifts. This is my second time in Zagreb, Zagreb is a beautiful city and I’m planning to come back again in June next year but this time I’m bringing my wife too!” said happy three millionth passenger Romero.
During the first 10 months of 2018, Franjo Tuđman Airport handled 2,887,370 passengers, which is an increase of 8.4% on last year. The airport expects to reach 3.4 million passengers by the end of the year.
