11th ZeGeVege Festival: Don’t Miss Croatian Veganmania

ZeGeVege, festival of sustainable living takes place at Zagreb’s Ban Jelačić Square again this September. It will occupy our main square for two days – Friday 7th, from 8 am till 9 pm and Saturday the 8th, from 8 am till 7 pm.

ZeGeVege Festival is a part of the international Veganmania event held in more than 15 European cities. It is successfully organized in Croatia by the non-profit Animal Friends Association with the support of many institutions and citizens.

  

More than 50,000 citizens are expected to visit this year’s festival with 100 exhibitors’ stalls of healthy food, ecological and sustainable products and cosmetics which are not tested on animals, both from Croatia and abroad. Healthy food in Veganmania world includes fast food such as delicious vegan burgers, kebabs and falafels, but also traditional Croatian cuisine, so you’ll be able to try our strudels and stewed vegetables.

Experts in various aspects of veganism, animal rights, ecology and sustainable living will hold lectures during these two days, while excellent cooks will hold helpful workshops. ZeGeVege atmosphere will also feature an entertaining program that will include a lot of dancing.

 

The goal of the ZeGeVege Festival is to educate on the importance of sustainable living with a lots of fun and entertainment. The ZeGeVege concept is made so that anyone who visits it can find something interesting and spend pleasant time in this vegan oasis. Come and celebrate the biggest Veganmania event in the region!
