In the mid-June, 2019, Art Park moved its summer project to a new address, one of the most beautiful Zagreb parks – Ribnjak. Although the events at the park should have soon ended, the organizers decided to extend the duration of the Art Park project and stay in the shade of Ribnjak’s trees until September 8, 2019.
For the last month, central Ribnjak’s meadow, right next to the children’s park, became an open-air art gallery featuring nine Croatian artists, a summer paradise for table tennis lovers and a place where you can always catch a good Dj session, a free workshop, a film screening or just lazily chill on a sunny day.
The program at Ribnjak continues today (Friday, July 19th) at 5 pm, all visitors will be able to become a part of an action ‘For a Sea Full of Fish!’ which, as part of the Fish Forward project, is being implemented by WWF Adria, and aims to increase customer and business awareness on the importance of selecting sustainable fisheries products. As part of the afternoon gathering, you can enjoy a rich thematic program, including the origami workshop, the performance of the poet Matko Abramić, and a large photo-point coloring book for the children, all accompanied by Dj Kuna’s music.
On Saturday, July 20th, Art Park brings in another workshop ‘In the Name of Plants’, in collaboration with Daily Dose of Plants (Dnevna doza biljaka), the afternoon Buvljak or a flea market and the evening jazz concert of the Tinitus band. The program continues every day from noon to 23 pm, until September 8th.
