Directly from London’s West End and Broadway, an award-winning masterpiece ‘Evita’ will be hitting Zagreb Arena on February 28th!
Authored by Tim Rice and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, the ‘Evita’ will bring a touch of glamour with dances and songs that follow the life of Maríe Eve Duarte de Perón. Maríe, or as the Argentine people called her – ‘Evita’, was the second wife of Argentine President Juan Perón. She fondly represented her people and was a true fighter for women’s rights.
The musical has been successfully performing for the last 40 years on Broadway and in the West End and has been translated into many languages. The piece has won numerous awards for its songs ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’, ‘You Must Love Me’ and ‘Another Suitcase in Another Hall’ and was given a Tony award for the best musical.
