Everything is ready for the 4th edition of the Dalmatia Ultra Trail, a popular race that starts tomorrow, on October 18, 2019, with the longest of all three races ‘Mountain Dut’ (118 km), which starts on Friday in ancient town of Salona (Solin) and finishes at Omiš’s city beach.
“The race takes place all over Split-Dalmatia County, and the second category – 54 kilometers long race named ‘Sea Dut’ will start on October 19th at 9 am in Makarska and finish in Omiš. The third 18km – long race ‘Ethno Dut‘ starts as well on October 19th at 1 pm at Dugi Rat, while on Sunday at 11 am there is a children’s race where more than 200 children of all ages are expected. This is a sporting and tourist event that aims to promote our county as an ideal destination for the active vacation”, said Dragomir Čović, a member of an organizational committee.
Because of the extremely high interest and the number of competitors that surpassed all the expectations of the organizers, it should be noted that the applications for all three races closed. And for all the little ones, the good news follows! The applications are still open for the 1 km long children’s race to be held on Sunday at the Omiš beach. The winners of all races will be announced on Sunday at noon.
