On Wednesday, October 10, at 6 pm, at the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, there will be held a lecture “Palmira – disappearance, finding, destruction” and the opening of an exhibition “Palmira – Then and Now” dedicated to the ancient city of Palmira.
The exhibition and lecture are held within The Most Important Archaeological Sites in the World project. The lecture will be held by prof. Dr. Sc. Marina Milićević Bradač and Miroslav Vuković, from the Department of Archeology at the Faculty of Philosophy of University of Zagreb.
The exhibition of the author Sunčica Nagradić Habus, presents a review of the most famous monuments of ancient Palmira, following their tragic destiny during the Syria war conflicts and plans for the reconstruction.
The exhibition stays opened for visitors until October 21st.
