Zagreb City Museum (Muzej Grada Zagreba) will host a number of living paintings this weekend, January 5th and 6th, held traditionally for the last weekend of carnival. The seventeenth carnival living pictures will be held between 11am and 2pm, with historic figures from kings and bishops to peasants and bell smelters retelling the history of Zagreb. The manifestation is inspired by a similar program held in the 19th century.
In the lobby of the museum a face painting workshops will be held for children during the mentioned period. All the activities are free. Zagreb City Museum is located in Upper Town, Opaticka street 20.
