Sandra Perković, the most successful Croatian discus thrower ever, has been once again nominated for The Best Female Athlete of the Year by The International Association of Athletics Federation.
Perković is a two-time Olympic and World champion and a five-time European champion, she is the only individual who managed to win five gold medals at the European Athletics Championship in one event and the youngest ever European champion in women’s discus throw. We could talk about her achievements the whole day so let’s just say she should really win this award.
She was first nominated for the same award in 2016 and this time, with your help, she has another chance to win. Fans can vote via social networks; on Twitter you have to retweet IAAF’s post about Sandra while on Facebook fans must like and share the photo of Sandra in the IAAF’s nominees photo album.
Voting closes on 12 pm CET on November 12, public votes will count for 25% of the final result.
