American so-called ‘indie heroes’, great band The Lemonheads, led by Evan Dando, arrive at Zagreb’s Culture Factory on February 27th, 2019.
Evan Dando and The Lemonheads return to Zagreb, after 11 years and summer 2008 when they performed at the Rokaj Festival on Jarun, in support of their new album Varshons 2, which will be released in 2019. The concert at the Culture Factory at the end of February will be their first solo club concert in Croatia.
Boston trio was formed in the ’86 by singer, songwriter and guitarist Evan Dando. In 1992, they scored a huge hit with their ‘It’s A Shame About Ray’ single and album, which they followed with the ‘Come on Feel The Lemonheads’ album in 1993. Following some time away from music, the band returned with album in 2006, perhaps taking inspiration from the huge success of their cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Mrs Robinson’ song.
From 1 January to 26 February, tickets cost 100 kn while on the day of the concert the price will be 120 kn. Tickets are available in Dirty Old Shop (Tratinska 18), Rockmark (Berislavićeva 13) and Aquarius CD Shop (Varšavska 13), Dallas Music Shop Rijeka (Splitska 2a), all sales venues of Eventim and online.
