UEFA Nations League: Croatia Playing Against Spain in Zagreb

On Thursday, November 15, at 8:45 pm, Croatian National Football Team is hosting Spain at Zagreb’s Maksimir stadium. Three days after that, on 18th of November, ‘Vatreni’ will be facing England in London’s Wembley Stadium.

Croatian coach Zlatko Dalić has called upon 25 players, including Josip Brekalo, a winger of Wolfsburg and one of the best U-21 European Championship players. “We await two excellent and difficult matches but Croatia can respond to such challenges. We are concentrated on Spain, we want to get a win that’ll keep us in the final tournament. I’m sure the fans will support us in great numbers, as this is the first competitive home match in front of audience after the World Cup” Dalić said.

Due to the big interest for the match in the League of Nations between Croatia and Spain, the Croatian Football Association (HNS) leadership has decided to activate one more grandstand of Maksimir Stadium.
