Valamar to Build the Largest Summer Resort in Croatia

This autumn, Valamar Hotels & Resorts company starts  the construction of the largest Croatian summer resort of a total value of 790 million kuna. The big news were announced yesterday at the ‘Investor Day‘ in Poreč.

Poreč hotel Pical 2 * will be transformed into a luxurious all-year five stars resort with about 500 accommodation units. The resort, which will be able to accommodate as many as 1,700 guests, will have 7 bars and 7 restaurants, swimming pools with 2,200 square meters of water surface, Sundance beach club, 1,200 seats congress center, indoor swimming pool and wellness center, and a broad offer for active holidays.

The construction of this summer resort will be the largest single investment in Croatian tourism, and the completion of the investment is planned for 2021. Valamar continues to invest in Pical area, which will, together with the Valamar Collection Marea Suites 5 * opened this year, become one of the most attractive tourist areas in Croatia.
