On Monday, Croatian Handball Team secured their place in the second stage of the World Championship with a 31:22 win over Macedonia in the third round of group B in Munich, Germany.
After two wins, over Iceland and Japan, Croatian Cowboys, as they’re popularly called in Croatia, defeated Macedonia and got themselves a first place in a group B with 6 points. Croatian Domagoj Duvnjak was named man of the match but it’s definitely important to highlight goalkeeper Marin Šego, who once again proved he’s in top form with 13 saves.
Croatia plays Bahrain next on Wednesday night, followed by Spain on Thursday.
