With nine unforgettable musical evenings on the big stage of King Tomislav Square, it is time to end Zagreb Classic with a bang! This Thursday (July 6th) at 9 PM on King Tomislav Square, the grand finale – music spectacle ‘Comedy Gala!’ will be held.
‘Comedy Gala!’ will be performed by the Komedija Municipal Theater, and they have prepared an extremely attractive selection of music tracks from its numerous performances. It will be a blend of performances from operas Beautiful Helena, The Riviera Girl, Countess Maritza, rock opera Gubec Beg, great Broadway hits Fiddler on the Roof, Man of La Mancha, Aida, Hair and Cabaret all the way to famous Croatian musicals Dundo Maroje, Byron and unavoidable Yalta.
The performance in ‘Tomislavac’ Square will also be the occasion to announce some new performances, primarily the new production of planetary popular rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, which Komedija Theater will present in March next year with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra in its Off cycle at Lisinski Hall along with a host of other music attraction.
During the past nine days, more than 1000 performers and 100 000 visitors had the pleasure of participating and enjoying the show. Entry is free for the public so hurry up, get your blankets and see you on Zagreb Classic finale… Where we enjoy the music on the grass :)
