The traditional Jastreb open – Ambassadors cup of the Republic of Korea, will take place in its 19th installment at 26th November in the hall nr.2 of Dom Sportova. It is the biggest international humanitarian taekwondo competition for the children and the young.
The competition gathers about 1000 competitors, both Croatian and foreign and the opening will take place at noon. This year, the humanitarian part is organized for Nika Rogar, an excellent student from tourism school, who is suffering from cerebral palsy and for whom, as a part of “SMILE FOR EVERY NEW DAY”, an action whose slogan chose Nika herself, will try to raise funds for the purchase of an electric wheelchair to enable her to fulfill her dreams.
Nika will be present on the day of competition and as a part of the action, promotional t-shirts will be up for sale for 50kn to get closer to the goal. Considering this is a very large investment for which 80,000 HRK is needed, the goal is to try to mobilize the wider community with this humanitarian action, to realize Nika’s dreams.
