Eighth [email protected] exhibition had opened yesterday, March 10th, at Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb. The exhibition, and consequential Awards for Croatian Contemporary Visual Arts are considered one of the most important cultural events of the year in Zagreb, due to its comprehensive considering of candidates among contemporary Croatian artists. Thirty five artists among 177 had been chosen via an application of work and, as is custom, three prominent artist were invited to the exhibition.
Three artist will be chosen by a jury whose works will be bought and placed in the permanent collection of MSU with one award of 10 000 kn going to an artist voted the most interesting by visitors. The exhibition is opened until March 28th.
