Apart from Zagreb, another historical first will also take place in Rotterdam on May 8th, as the organisation’s way of demonstrating continuous growth on the EMEA market.
Croatia and The Netherlands are closely tied with K1 as new markets for this global mixed martial arts organisation. Besides, Croatia is the homeland of one of the greatest and legendary mixed martial artists, Mirko Cro Cop, who has achieved success in major fighting organisations such as PRIDE, K1 and UFC. Apart from him, the current second ranking heavyweight fighter, Stipe Miočić, who is of Croatian origin, expressed a desire to return to Croatia a long time ago. Both events will be broadcast live, and can be viewed via FS1 in the United States, BT Sport in Great Britain, Extreme in Poland, Fox in The Netherlands and Fight Channel in Croatia.
