Etnographic Museum Photo Exhibition: Think and Adopt!

They are bearded, traveling in a “pack”, and they like to wander. Their motto: Leave the heart on the road – yes! Leave your dog on the road – no! May the “soft” heart of bearded bikers from Trešnjevka encourage you to become a foster and adopt an animal without home yourself.

The exhibition opening will be held on Thursday (31.8.), at 8 PM. Explore Svena Čustović’s photo exhibition as part of the Zagreb City Shelters for abandoned animals and MC Hollister „Stop and think. Adopt!“ campaigns. Listen to stories of adoptions, ask for advice, share experiences, and see the exhibition.

In addition to dogs and cats – our most popular pets, there are still a number of animals that have a mustache. For what they serve, why they are important and why we should not bother them at all, the youngest visitors (by the wishes and the older ones) will find out at a workshop that will be held on Friday, September 1 by educators of the Zagreb Zoological Gardens.

Before the workshops, the children will, under the customary guidance of our museum pedagogue, discover what the bearded animals are hiding in the exhibition “About animals and people” and later their beards and mustaches can be made of paper. The estimated duration of the program is 60 minutes, starting at 11 am. The workshop is free and is intended for children aged five to ten.

Action to collect the necessary food and equipment for dogs in Dumovec asylum (in exchange for two free tickets to the exhibition “About animals and people”) runs until September 30, 2017.

Entry is 25kn (adult), see the detailed program here.
