Every year since the 2013, at the beginning of November, Zagreb becomes the center of the yacht charter industry. International Charter Expo (ICE), the world’s biggest and most influential yacht charter event, gathers industry leaders to discuss business deals, exchange ideas and build relationships. This year’s ICE is going to be held from November 2nd till 4th at Arena Zagreb.
The event will be attended by 150 fleet operators, 200 agencies and various suppliers of goods and services in the nautical industry that will hold over 5,000 meetings. Exhibitors come from 42 countries and represent fleets of over 10,000 vessels in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific and the South Pacific. The event is highly exclusive and only relevant companies are admitted.
Tino Prosenik, the director of the fair, says that the representatives of charter companies exhibiting on ICE together hold more than 50 percent of the entire world fleet charter, ‘it is clear that they have the power to define guidelines for the development of the entire industry’.
