For the occasion of The Day of the City of Zagreb, State Archives in Zagreb will open an exhibition called „Turquoise Harness“ ( „Tirkizna upregnutost“) by Tomislav Hršak. The opening will be held tomorrow, at Wednesday – May the 30th at 1 pm in the yard of the State Archives in Zagreb, at Opatička street 29.
This year, the exhibitor is a very young artist Tomislav Hršak who graduated from sculpture at the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts. Throughout his work Hršak has won several awards, held a number of solo and group exhibitions and is known as the author of three art works presented at the public spaces such as sculpture of Dino Dvornik at the yard of „The Beertija“ bar.
This is now the third year of cooperation between the State Archives and young academic sculptors whose time is yet to come, and the goal is to make this cooperation permanent.
The exhibition will be opened by vice dean of the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts and vice president of board of directors of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists – professor Tomislav Buntak.
