Zagreb’s Hotel Esplanade has won the title of the Historic Hotel of the Year at the 2019 European Hotel Awards that were held last week in Geneva, Switzerland.
Esplanade’s director, Ivica Max Krizmanić was honored to receive the award from Jérôme Chapman, director of the publication Références Hôteliers Restaurateurs. “I’m proud of our Zagreb beauty, the icon of style, elegance and glamour. On the foundations of the tradition of top service, with its timeless charm and elegance, cultural and historical significance, Esplanade continues to enchant the guests coming to Zagreb every day. This award once again proves that we are at the very top of European, but also at the top of the world luxury hotels,” said Krizmanić and congratulated his whole team on the achievement. He added: “the Esplanade Hotel in 1925, with its luxurious interior, impressive architecture and modern amenities, attracted travelers on the renowned Orient Express”.
Throughout the years, Hotel Esplanade has been awarded with numerous prestigious global awards, for example the TripAdvisor awarded Esplanade in their 2019 Traveller’s Choice Awards.
