Balkan ZOO Ensemble, Jazz That Will Spice Up the Weekend

Mario Rasic and his Balkan ZOO Ensemble will perform tomorrow at Bacchus Jazz Bar in Zagreb. Mario, last year published his second album called “Balkan zoo“. Mario is best known as the bassist of the Croatian rock band Goran Bare and Majke. He is also a studio musician who collaborated with some top names on Croatian music scene. Ensemble was founded in 2012. upon release of the first album “Miles”. The compositions performed together with Balkan Zoo Ensemble are fusion of different musical styles with a touch of “Balkan” melodies, complex rhythms , jazz harmonies and improvisations. The band consists of the renowned Croatian musicians who are his musical talent contributed to warm and full sound band . Members of Balkan Zoo Ensemble are also: Viktor Lipić (keyboards) – one of the best Croatian pianists Paul Miljenović (guitar) – active on the Croatian jazz scene Miroslav Lehpamer (drums) – collaborated with many musicians attended the prestigious New York Drummers Collective. Guest saxophone John Bonacic graduated from the University of Music and Dramatic Arts Gratz.
