Croatian football got its own museum in the city centre

Croatian Football Federation (HNS) opened the doors to its new museum and information centre this monday right next to ban Jelacic square, on Petrinjska street 2.

The museum, named Be Proud (Budi Ponosan) is set up to emulate a football stadium and it encompasses the greatest moments of the national football history. The first part of the museum, set up as a the locker room, features all the trophies football teams have won over the years. The locker room also features the dresses won by the national team starting from the year 1907.

The field is set up with video installations that depict the lives of famous national football players,  as well as details from famous matches that the national team has played.

The bleachers part of the museum is dedicated to the supporters, showcasing interesting pictures of fans rooting their teams in all sorts of manners, and to fair play on and off the field.

The museum is opened from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and is free to all visitors. All the content is in english.
