This week, the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla has its program filled with lectures and workshops dedicated to the topic of time. To be more precise, it is the time of 15th Science Festival and such lectures and workshops are not limited only to Zagreb.
Besides time, this year’s festival celebrates the 160th anniversary of the birth of Croatian meteorologist and seismologist Andrija Mohorovičić who saw the importance of accurate timekeeping and was respected for contributions to modern seismology. He started observing the passage of stars through the local meridian, thus founding the Croatian time service.
The Science Festival lasts until April 29th. More info at http://www.festivalznanosti.hr/2017/grad/zagreb/2017-04-28
