Association Prijatelji zivotinja (Animals Friends Croatia) invited to celebrate Meatout Day which is celebrated every year just on the first day of spring, today at the main square in Zagreb. Members of Prijatelji zivotinja have called citizens to join the 30 daily veggie challenge starting from 20th of March, and everyone who accepted it received a great gift. What is Meatout Day?
Since 1985, activists around the world have celebrated March 20th, the first day of Spring, by sharing their love of vegan food as part of a huge international event called Meatout. Every year, Meatout introduces thousands of people to the benefits of a compassionate diet for achieving great health, helping the environment, and of course, saving animals.
Animal Friends is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, founded in 2001 with the aim to promote animal protection and animal rights as well as veganism, as ethical, ecological and healthy lifestyle. Animal Friends Croatia is a member organization of EVU, Eurogroup for Animals, ECEAE, FFA, IAFC and OIPA.
