Two exhibitions within the whole year program Branimir’s year: ‘Construction of Branimir’s Time and Material Culture in Early Medieval Principality Croatia’ and ‘Croatia at the Time of Prince Branimir – Written Testimonies of Prince Branimir and Archaeological Research of Gornji Muć’ will be opened this Tuesday, August 21st, at 7 pm, in Zagreb’s Archaeological Museum.
With the whole year program Branimir’s year Archaeological Museum in Zagreb marks the 1130th anniversary of the year 888 which is engraved near Branimir’s name on the altar beam from Gornji Muć near Split, which is kept in the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. The program consists of a series of lectures, events, workshops, a summer camp and three exhibitions.
‘Croatia at the time of Prince Branimir – Written Testimonies of Prince Branimir and Archaeological Research of Gornji Muć’ exhibition is opened for visitors from August 22nd till the 31st of October. The authors of this exhibition are Maja Bunčić, Anita Dugonjić from Archaeological Museum in Zagreb and Maja Petrinec from Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments – Split.
The second exhibition ‘Construction of Branimir’s Time and Material Culture in Early Medieval Principality Croatia’ is opened for visitors from August 22nd till the 3oth of December 2018. The authors of this exhibition are Maja Bunčić and Anita Dugonjić, professional associate is Željko Demo, image formatting is made by Mario Beusan, while graphic preparation is work of Srećko Škrinjarić.
