The 20th Cest is D Best (Cesta=street), the biggest street festival in this part of Europe will be held from 26th of May to 5th of June at various locations around Zagreb. The festival will bring hundreds of independent street artist to the center of Croatian capital, all together with their vivacity, energy, culture and laughter. During these 11 days, people of our city will watch clowns, trumpet players, musicians, actors and actresses, dancers, runners, acrobats, the loud and the silent performers and more. That is why everyone who knows about this festival can not wait for it to start. For the 20th year in a row, Cest is D Best will bring music and concerts, theatre plays, workshops for children and adults with different and unique performances to the heart of Zagreb. And the best things is – everything is free!
Cest is d’ Best is founded by Zagreb’s famous street musicians, the Kings of the Street. From the small local festival until its 20th edition this festival became an international multimedia street festival, which preserves Zagreb’s identity, enlivens city streets and squares, bringing them back charm and optimism. It erases the borders between the established forms of culture and alternative culture, brings closer all generations of citizens through various cultural preferences because each and one of them can take part in the program. Festival stages will be located in several spots in central Zagreb – Jelačić Square, Cvjetni Square, in Bogovićeva Street, Tkalčićeva Street and in Zrinjevac Park.
