All of Zagrebians and city guests from Croatia and abroad will have the opportunity to become part of the traditional, ice-cold fairy tale at the Ice Park this winter. The official opening of the Ice Park will take place on Saturday, December 2nd.
The Advent in Zagreb, proud holder of the Christmas fair crown in Europe for the past two years can boast with a magical destination – Ice Park, which is being set up for the fourth year in a row.
Ice Park will open their doors by November 30th, when everyone will be able to drink the boiled wine and try various delicacies while watching the ice being grinded to perfection for a spectacular opening on December 2nd at 6 pm.
This year’s theme of Advent in Zagreb is ‘Roads of Orient Express’ and for the spectacular opening on December 2nd, young hopes from artistic skating clubs Pahuljice and Medo will take the show to the ice. Sandra Dubravčić – Šimunjak, the famous Olympic skater will also thread on the ice and fill the art program.
Everyday music program of the Ice Park will start at 7 pm, with band and DJ performances that guarantee a great atmosphere. The ticket cost for Ice Park is 15kn (from 10 am to 4 pm) or 20kn (from 4 pm to 11 pm), while the renting of skates is 20kn. For children up to six years old, accompanied by escorts, skating is free of charge, while retirees, veterans, and students have a price of 10kn in the first term.
