During the first six months of the year 2016, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) carried out study trips for a total of 348 media representatives, of which 32 were bloggers. Dubai blogger Viviek Kukreti (blog http://incelinasheels.com/) spent nine days visiting Croatian destinations in the company of his girlfriend Nishe Celina, also bloggers (blog http://incelinasheels.com/). Although the mentioned bloggers arrived in Croatia in their own arrangements, the Croatian National Tourist Board, in cooperation with National Park Plitvice Lakes, provided them support in the field. Dubai blogger decided to propose to his girlfriend right there on NP Plitvice Lakes, a protected pearl of Croatian tourism that attracts visitors from all over the world.
After the successful announcement and big applause from the passersby, the bloggers continued to explore the park. During their stay in Croatia, they also visited Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Makarska and other destinations whose beauty was simply charming. “Croatia is truly a beautiful country with extremely preserved nature. When we saw photos on Instagram’s profile “Croatia full of life” we simply could not resist and decided to visit as many destinations as possible. We already know that we are sure to return to Croatia next year because we want to find out what we simply did not get to see and experience, “said the Dubai blogger duo.
The head office of the Croatian Tourist Board encourages promotional activities, accepts travel journeys from foreign journalists and supports bloggers in cooperation with the Croatian Tourist Board’s representative offices in the world and with the tourist community system.
In the year 2016, 594 journalists and 65 bloggers visited Croatia in the full organization of the Croatian National Tourist Board. The main objective of these organized travel tours is to present Croatia as a desirable tourist destination with all its natural beauties.
