Croatian Landscape Architects Association and Bonsai Association Zen are pleased to invite you to the first International Bonsai Exposition that will be held at the Kranjčar Gallery (Kaptol street 26, Zagreb) from 26th till 27th of May. Solemn opening is planned for this Saturday at 10 am. The exhibition will be open for visitors both days from 10am till 7pm and the entrance is free of charge.
Bonsai Expo is organised in order to mark 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Croatia. It will gather more than 20 remarkable European bonsai breeders (from Italy, Slovenia, Serbia etc.) who will present some of the prettiest bonsai of the world to the public.
Landscape Architects prepared interesting lectures about Japanese gardens and architecture in order to bring visitors closer to the culture of the Far East. One of the speakers is well- known architect Melita Rački who lived in Japan for 9 years and mastered contemporary Japanese architecure at the Tokio University.
