Get to Know Your Town: Free Tours for the Citizens of Zagreb

During September and October, the Zagreb tourist board is organizing free tours of the city for citizens of Zagreb.

There are three tours to choose from:

Zagrebarium – a costumed city tour that depicts Zagreb from the end of the 19th century. Traces of that time are being sought in today’s Zagreb with stories about the city’s rapid development, Croatian inventors and the alchemy of our city.

Green Zagreb – marking the International Year of Sustainable Tourism, this tour enables everyone to discover and enjoy the beautiful oases of the Green Horseshoe of the City. Start at 4:00 pm.

A regular city tour – a tour of the most famous attractions. Start at 5:00 pm.

Tours begin on Saturdays at 4 and 5 PM in front of the Tourist Information Center at Ban Jelacic Square. The education tours of the city are accompanied by a tour guide and last about two hours. Each participant will receive a licitar heart at the end of the tour.

All interested parties can apply only on Fridays for the following day (Saturday) at 00385/99-21-99-987, and it is mandatory to indicate which tour they are signing for. Note that the number is active from 9 am until the group completes.
