Film program Hello summer will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 11 am with the announcement of the selection of films by the Youth Film Festival and the Four River Film Festival, and premiere screening of works from this year’s educational workshops.
The most important part of the event for many young filmmakers from all over Croatia and abroad will be the publication of the works included in the 24th Youth Film Festival and the 12th Four River Film Festival. Members of the Selection Committee for the Youth Film Festival and the Four River Film Festival are Ana Đordić, Croatian language and media culture professor, film critic Boško Picula, filmmaker and director Dinka Radonić, while the Committee of the Croatian Children’s Filmmaking Review includes editor Marina Andrea Škop, director Čejen Černić Čanak and Astrid Nox, a media theoretician and practitioner, and a professor at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb.
The second part of Saturday’s program is the premiere of films that came as products of this year’s educational cycle of Tuškanac cinema. Many primary and high school students attended these programs, and the Hello Summer event is a great opportunity to show what they have learned to their friends and the public.
