International Design Festival “Plan D”

The 2nd edition of the International Plan D Design Festival will be held from September 27th to 30th, in Hall V of the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla in Zagreb. The festival opens on 27th of September at 7 pm.

The exhibition “For Users / For People — Ethical views on design” will present projects that look at design in a wider context than mere form shaping and immediate function for the user. The visitors will be able to see the works of affirmed domestic and foreign authors.

Along with the thematic exhibition, there is also the International Young Authors Exhibition that brings together the selection of works that have been submitted to the festival.

The festival program has also a rich conference program, which starts on September 28th at 5 pm and will be held every day until the end of the festival. As part of this program there will be presented both foreign and domestic lecturers — design professionals who will stimulate the introspection of local and global design practice from an ethical perspective — and those from other fields of practice that will help visitors expand their understanding of design in a wider economic and the social context.

The festival is organized by Croatian Designers Association in partnership with the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla.
