The Croatian Film Association decided to devote May to the National Day of People with Disabilites and organized sensory projections in the cinemas in Varaždin and Koprivnica. The third one will be held on May 24, 2019 in Zagreb’s Cinema Tuškanac at 10 am.
With the free sensory projections, the Croatian Film Association seeks to point out that people with sensory disabilities are an important part of our society.
Each film for the sensory projections was carefully selected so that children with sensory difficulties could follow. Children watch the movie in a relaxed atmosphere, the lights are muted and not completely turned off, the sound is quieter than the standard movie projection, and children can walk, move, bring their favorite toy or blanket, snacks and juices, come with parents, teachers, friends or grandparents …
