One of the world’s prime pianists and conductors sir András Schiff performed in the Lisinski Concert Hall on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 together with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment he has been collaborating with since 2013.
András Schiff, Knight Bachelor for services to music, honorable member of the Beethoven House in Bonn is a recipient of the Mozart Gold Medal and numerous other international awards and honors. The visitors of the Saturday at Lisinski had an opportunity to hear: Schumann’s Concertpiece for Four Horns, Op. 86 and his Symphony No. 4, Op. 120, as well as Brahms’s „gigantic“ Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1, Op. 15.
