British rockers Skunk Anansie, led by charismatic Skin, will celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary on 27th of July,2019 at the Šalata stadium in Zagreb.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, Skunk Anansie is doing a world tour 25LIVE@25. British rock band from London was formed in 1994. The name of the band is taken from Akann folk tales of Anansi, the spider-man of Ghana, with “Skunk” added to make the name nastier. Their debut album Paranoid & Sunburnt was released in 1995 and featured a mix of controversial protest songs focused on religion and politics. Since then the band has released five albums and from 2002 to 2008 the band was dissolved. The band reunited in 2009 for a Greatest Hits tour.
Tickets sale starts on Friday, February 22, at the early bird price of 190 kn. This price is valid until March 31st, while from April 1st to July 26th, the tickets will cost 220 kn, and 250 kn on the day of the concert. For more information check the Facebook event.
